Instructions for your myXplorer Product
We're a small family business based out of Buckinghamshire! Thank you for supporting us!
I'm Lucy, the owner of myXplorer! I have 3 young kids and after one terrible car journey, I started looking for ways to keep my family organised on the road. Nothing suited me, so I decided to make it myself and myXplorer was born.
Then the pandemic hit, and I found my passion for serving tradespeople and van drivers. Still working throughout the pandemic delivering the goods and services we so urgently needed, these daily drivers inspired me. So I started designing practical gear made just for them.
Today, over 10,000 drivers have trusted myXplorer. We work with tradespeople to design and test new premium accessories made to stand up to the daily grind, like the one you just welcomed into your van!

🛠️ INSTRUCTIONS AND TIPS: for your myXplorer product are below 👇.
Instructions for your myXplorer Van Organiser
Step 1 - ASSEMBLE: Your organiser will arrive folded flat. Simply open it up and push down the floor board already placed inside the main compartment. Your cooler bag can be placed inside your organiser, or kept outside as you desire. There is also a space separator for your main compartment.
Step 2 - ROLL-ON COVER: Your organiser has a roll-on cover that zips shut to keep your possessions secure. Undo the toggle at the back to roll this on. When you don't need it just roll it up and secure it again using the toggle.
Step 3 - POSITION ON SEAT: The buckles at the back help to keep your organiser from sliding forward. Attach these to the lower part of the seat-belt of the empty seat you are using before you set-off.
Pro-tips for your cooler bag:
- Your cooler bag is insulated. Your myXplorer Ice Floor is our food-safe ice pack that is specially designed to fit the entire floor of your cooler bag, giving all-day cooling for your food and drinks when you need it!
- If your food is getting too cold, consider putting your Ice Floor in the freezer for shorter periods before-hand.
- If your Ice Floor shows a small bump when it freezes, worry not :). It just means the liquid waswas not evenly distributed at the time of freezing, and this is totally fine.

Instructions for your myXplorer Van Bin
Step 1 - ASSEMBLE: Your bin has arrived folded flat. Simply open it up, and push the included floor board down to the bottom to give your bin its shape.
Step 2 - ADD A BIN LINER: Your bin has magnets inside to keep a bin liner in place. The inside of the bin is waterproof and wipes clean, but I highly recommend using small bin liners for easier regular disposal of rubbish, and to reduce the need to clean your myXplorer bin. Simply place the bin liner inside and clip it in place using the 4 magnets. Now, you’re ready to zip shut your bin for a neat appearance that hides the bin-liner.
Note: The bin-liners themselves are not included, but generic small liners can be purchased in the household section of most supermarkets.
Step 3 - POSITION IN VAN / CAR: The adjustable buckle strap allows you to secure the bin around the front passenger seat head-rest. Simply secure the buckle around the head rest and then adjust for a secure fit.
- For driver use: Position on the front passenger head-rest facing frontwards.
- For rear passenger use: Position on the front passenger head-rest facing BACKWARDS.
- For rear passenger use (alternative): In some (not all) cars another option is to attach it to the front centre console and face it towards rear seat passengers for their ease of access (great if you have kids sharing it). To do this, raise the centre console lid, place the strap inside the lid, and close avoiding the buckle. The limitation of this placement option is that re-opening the centre console will disrupt the placement, so you may prefer the headrest options.
Pro-tips when using:
- Use a damp cloth to clean the inside of the bin when needed.
- Shopping bags also work great if you have run out of bin-liners.
- If you also own the myXplorer Van and Car organiser, your bin is designed to sit snuggly inside the organiser, giving an additional placement option.

Instructions for your myXplorer Van Seat Covers
Step 1 - UNFOLD: Your seat covers arrive folded – simply open them up to use.
Watch demo video of Steps 2 & 3
Step 2 - DRIVER SEAT: Start with the driver’s seat. Fit the cover by placing it over the head rest first and then pulling down over the seat. Adjust the fit around the seat by pulling the material tight across the front of the seat as you pull the cover down to ensure a snug fit. The seat covers are elasticated so pull the cover taut around the underneath of the seat to maximise your comfort.
Step 3 - PASSENGER BENCH: Next fit the passenger seats. Again, fit the cover by placing it over the head rests first. As you pull the cover down, make sure the middle seat belt is lined up with the seat belt opening. Pull the cover taut around the underneath of the seat.
Pro-tips:
- Your covers are waterproof – simply wipe dry any spills!
- Use a damp cloth to clean the covers when they get dirty.
